A Decisive Day

Today was a decisive day for the BTCA.

As President, I am charged with the duty to protect the Club, the members and the bylaws. To do so, we made a decisive move and filed legal action in the New York Supreme Court against Gayle Pruett. This came after months of election tampering.

To be clear, the Biewer Terrier Club of America, Inc. abides by its bylaws. All members are treated equally and fairly. To this end, an audit of all records since the inception of the Club to present was completed. We have a legal membership list for the first time in the history of the Club.
We will not tolerate interference in the process of our election. We will not tolerate the kind of harassment that this Club has endured. This is election tampering, and that is now being addressed in the Courts.

Elections are governed by the State of New York; AKC’s interference with internal governance and elections is not allowed.

As President, I will take the decisive actions necessary to stand for our Club and its members. Today is an important day for us; a copy of the public complaint is forthcoming.

Regards,
Debarah Billings

President
Biewer Terrier Club of America, Inc.
