On January 1, 2021, the Biewer Terrier achieved the distinguished honor of becoming the 197th dog breed recognized by the American Kennel Club. The news about our marvelous breed has spread far and wide throughout the nation and internationally on major news networks throughout the dog show and toy dog enthusiast world. Our Biewers have moved up from competing in the Miscellaneous Group to the legendary AKC Toy Group and we couldn’t be happier.

With recognition comes the demand for these happy-go-lucky, gorgeous drop-coated dogs. The Biewer Terrier Club of America would like to connect you with our members who are Biewer Terrier Breeders to assist you in connecting with the AKC Parent Club’s members who are breeders.
