Conformation Event Approval Policy for Local Specialty Clubs 

 The Biewer Terrier Club of America, Inc., recognized by AKC as the National (Parent) Club for the breed, supports the formation of Local Clubs and wishes to support localized events. 

The following procedures will be required for event approval. 

1. The Local Club Secretary or Event Chair must contact the Biewer Terrier Club of America, Inc. Secretary in writing with the request (via email or mail) to include date, location and judging panel. 
2. Said application must be received by the Biewer Terrier Club of America, Inc. at least 18 weeks prior to the show date. 
3. No Local Club Specialty* may be held in the same month of the national Specialty. 
4. No Local Club Specialty* may be held within 200 miles of another Local Club Specialty or on the same day as Parent Club Specialty on the same day. 

*Specialty refers to any Independent, Concurrent or Designated Specialty.
