Biewer Terrier Standard- Front: The forelegs should be straight, with elbows neither in nor out.

Diagram A shows a Correct Front. This diagram exemplifies the written Biewer Terrier Standard. Notice the forelegs are straight and parallel. The elbows lie flat and close to the chest wall or brisket, neither sticking out nor pinched under. The width of the front is moderate in the Biewer Terrier, neither too wide nor too narrow.

Diagram B illustrates incorrect Out at the Elbow.  You can spot this with the dog standing or while gaiting.  Out at the elbows, or elbowing out, is exactly what it says: the elbows turn out from the chest. This can be caused by a dog putting on too much weight too fast, excessive muscle mass under the shoulder, or, structurally, elbow joints sitting in a wider plane than the shoulder points. It is both unattractive and causes inefficient movement.

Diagram C shows a Narrow Chest. A narrow chest is unattractive, and the narrow base of support makes the dog more prone to injury because it lacks the room for sufficient muscular suspension.
