The Biewer Terrier Club of America, Inc. strives to present a robust, engaging and interactive presentation to educate new judges and support current judges.

The following criteria have been put in place to be apply to be a presenter:

  1. Be an active Breed Mentor for at least one year and have mentored at least 3 judges.
  2. Skills needed
    • Presentation skills
    • Technology skills
    • Organization skills
    • Ability to field a range of questions
    • Ability to handle difficult students
  1. Workshop
    • Attend the AKC Symposium for Judges Education Coordinators

And/Or

    • Attend a BTCA sponsored workshop (either zoom or live) on presenting Judge’s Education.
  1. Apprenticeship program with steps including
    • Helping an approved presenter.
    • Presenting with the aid of an approved presenter

To become an approved presenter, please submit the presenter application to the Judges Education Coordinator at JEC@BiewerTerrierClubOfAmerica.org

I understand that by becoming a BTCA approved mentor, I am agreeing to mentor judging applicants, as well as participate in educational seminars at National Specialties. When called upon, I will deliver the BTCA’s approved Judges’ Education programs and will use only the BTCA Approved PowerPoint Presentation and BTCA approved handouts.
